The English Football Association's general secretary Alex Horne believes the Premier League is on the verge of approving the introduction of goal-line technology from next season.
Horne expects Friday's meeting of Premier League clubs to give the green light to the technology which will be installed at Wembley and the 20 Premier League stadiums.
Goal-line technology was used at the Club World Cup in Japan at the end of last year.
