New Zealand's Jo Edwards has proved once again she's one of the world's best bowlers after claiming her fourth world title at the World Cup in Warilla, Austraila.

Edwards progressed through the entire competition unbeaten, along her way defeating current world singles champion Karen Murphy.

The final between Edwards and Alison Merrien of Guernsey was contested right down to the final end after Edwards lost her first end 3-8 before coming back to take the second set 8-3 forcing a tie break.

She went on to win the tie break 3-2, securing gold.

It also came down to a tie-break in the men's final with New Zealand's Tony Grantham just pipped by Australia's Jeremy Henry.
