Argentina has thrashed the New Zealand women's hockey team 5-1 in the final of the second Four Nations tournament at Tauranga.
The Black Sticks squad, which won the first tournament last week in Whangarei, was changed to give selectors a look at different players, but coach Mark Hager says the changes cost New Zealand a second gold medal.
Hager says a team will be selected next week to travel to the Netherlands in June for the semi-finals of the World League, which doubles as qualification for next year's Hockey World Cup.
