Horschel wins first PGA tour title

The American golfer Billy Horschel has won his first PGA tour title winning the Zurich Classic in New Orleans, sinking an eight metre birdie putt at the par-five last hole to finish 20-under for the tournament, one shot ahead of fellow American DA Points.

The English world number four Justin Rose, the highest-ranked player in the field, finished tied for 15th at 12 under.

China's 14-year-old Guan Tianlang, after making his second consecutive cut on the PGA Tour, signed off with a two-over 74 to finish at four-over in last place.
