The Wallabies great Stephen Larkham says he's surprised the British and Irish Lions have named only two five-eighths in their 37-man squad to tour Australia over the next two months, and he has a sneaky feeling Johnny Wilkinson could play some part in the 10-match tour.
It's understood Wilkinson turned down an invitation from the Lions coach Warren Gatland to join the squad for Australia, and Larkham doubts the 33-year-old Toulon-based match-winner would be able to resist one last trip Down Under if injuries presented him with a second chance.
