Black Caps selectors happy with bowling stocks

The New Zealand cricket selectors appear to have plenty of pace bowling options to choose from just over a week out from the first test against England at Lord's.

Neil Wagner and Doug Bracewell took 15 wickets between them in the warm-up win over Derbyshire.

Some commentators believe the duel between the two will decide who gets the third pace bowlers spot for the test.

Wagner played in the three-test series against England here as Bracewell was recovering from a cut foot.

Coach Mike Hesson dismissed talk that it was a trial between the two.

Hesson says the four who didn't play in the tour opener, Brendan McCullum, Ross Taylor, Tim Southee and Trent Boult will play in the four-day match against the England Lions starting in Leicester on Friday, while a decision on who else will bowl will be made closer to the time.
