The Crusaders captain Kieran Read returns to face the Blues in Christchurch on Saturday, in the only one change to the team that beat the Brumbies in Canberra two weeks ago.
Read has been out with a toe injury for seven weeks and returns to the number eight jersey, moving Luke Whitelock to the bench.
The game will be halfback Andy Ellis's 100th in Super Rugby.
