The four-time NBA basketball champions the San Antonio Spurs are through to the Western Conference finals after beating the Golden State Warriors 94-82 in game six of their best of seven playoff series.

The win gave the Spurs a 4-2 win and they'll now play the Memphis Grizzlies in the Conference finals.

In the Eastern Conference, the New York Knicks have avoided elimination with a 85-75 win over the Indiana Pacers but still trail the Pacers 3-2 in the series and need a win in Indiana on Sunday to force a seventh and final game.

The winner will play the defending NBA champions the Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference final.
