Atletico Madrid have won their 10th Spanish Cup with a 2-1 extra-time victory over bitter city rivals Real Madrid, as both Real manager Jose Mourinho and star forward Cristiano Ronaldo were sent off.
Goals from Diego Costa and Miranda saw the underdogs triumph in the Copa del Rey final, after Real had got off to the perfect start as Ronaldo headed them in front after just 13 minutes.
But Costa's drive ensured Atletico went into the break level.
Mourinho was sent from the sidelines in the second half as Real's frustration grew, after hitting the woodwork three times.
Miranda than headed Atletico into the lead eight minutes into extra time.
There was even more drama to come as Ronaldo was then shown a straight red card for reacting angrily to a late challenge from Gabi with six minutes of extra time remaining.
