Coach Sir John Kirwan was livid with his side's commitment in the match, which leaves them seventh on the table and facing a tough road trip to South Africa after this weekend's match against the Highlanders.
Kirwan says he doesn't care if they win or lose, it's about playing with passion and commitment.
The Chiefs still top the table, followed by the Brumbies, Bulls, Cheetahs, Reds and Crusaders.
