The Manawatu golfer Tim Wilkinson has finished fifth in the Mexico Open, the latest event on the second tier web.com tour.
Wilkinson finished three shots behind the winner American Michael Putnam.
The result means he'll climb to fourth on the tour money list.
Meanwhile Otago's Greg Turner's finished in a share of 56th place on his debut on the USPGA's Champions Tour - the tournament for over 50's.
Turner finished at five over par in the Senior PGA Championship tournament, at Bellerive Golf Club in St Louis Missouri.
