The Melbourne Vixens' English import Geva Mentor says she's not surprised by the success Jamaican import Jhanielle Fowler is having in her first year of the ANZ netball competition for the Southern Steel.
The league's tallest player at 1.98 metres, Fowler has been a revelation, sinking the most goals of any shooter so far this season.
Mentor came down to Australia in 2008 for the inaugural year of the trans-Tasman league and says it was a huge learning curve and says Fowler's game will go from strength to strength.
