Sevens Rugby World Cup trial squad named

The All Blacks sevens coach Gordon Tietjens has named a 19-strong squad to trial for the New Zealand side to compete at the IRB Sevens Rugby World Cup in Moscow next month.

The training squad for the three day trial starting at Mount Manganui next week includes the 14 players who won the recent World Series.

Tietjens will name his 12-strong side for the tournament on Friday next week.

New Zealand hasn't won the World Cup since 2001.
