Warriors want to maintain urgency

The pressure has eased on the Warriors after their win over the Newcastle Knights, but they are vowing to continue with the same intensity as they try to revive their ailing NRL campaign.

Their 28-12 upset win at Mt Smart Stadium was just their third after 11 games this season and their superior points differential is all that keeps them off the bottom of the table.

Despite suffering a record loss a week earlier, the coach, Matt Elliott, says their standards have been increasing throughout the year.

He says they can't afford to let their attitude slip again.

Matt Elliott's side meet a Broncos outfit on Monday night missing Queensland State of Origin representatives Justin Hodges, Sam Thaiday, Corey Parker and Matt Gillett.
