The lanky American golfer Matt Kuchar has vaulted nine places to number four in the world rankings following his win at Jack Nicklaus's Memorial tournament in Ohio.

The top three are unchanged - Tiger Woods tops the rankings, followed by Rory McIlroy and Adam Scott.

Meanwhile New Zealand's Tim Wilkinson has made another substantial leap up the money list on the Web.com tour.

The Palmerston North left-hander finished 10th at the Mid-Atlantic championship in Maryland, his fifth top-10 in eight events this year, and he's up to third place on the money list, well within reach of a PGA Tour card for next year.
