The six-time Olympic champion Usain Bolt says he's ready to put his injury woes behind him when he lines up at the Rome Golden Gala for his first appearance of the year in Europe later this week.

Bolt's start to the season has been hampered by hamstring problems and, a month ago, American rival Justin Gatlin posted an impressive time of 9.97 seconds at the opening Diamond League event of the season in Doha.

The 26-year-old Bolt though is already looking at adding to his impressive list of records at the 2016 Games in Rio.

Bolt says he's got pretty much four years left and he wants to dominate and do something that's unprecedented: defend all his gold medals in Brazil to go back to back to back at three Games.
