The 3-time ANBL basketball champion Breakers have signed American Darnell Lazare to fill one of their two import spots for the new season.

The 28-year-old power forward comes from the Sydney Kings and has committed to a one year deal with a further one year option.

They've also signed Tall Black Jeremiah Trueman, who returns to the club on a two year contract after playing the last three seasons with the Perth Wildcats, while they've also signed development player Reuben Te Rangi.

The new players join Tom Abercrombie, Mika Vukona, Corey Webster, Alex Pledger, CJ Bruton and Daryl Corletto at the Breakers.

Coach Dean Vickerman has one spot to fill on his roster and will leave the point guard spot open, hoping to re-sign Cedric Jackson.
