The Wallabies outcast Quade Cooper will get one last chance to impress Australia rugby coach Robbie Deans and win a spot in the test squad to play the British and Irish Lions.
Cooper will play for the Queensland Reds against the tourists on Saturday in Brisbane.
Cooper wasn't included in the initial 25-man squad for the series, but is seeking one of six additional spots the Deans will name next Tuesday.
Without seven seven other Wallabies for the match the Queensland coach Ewen McKenzie has still been able to name a side with plenty of Super Rugby and international experience.
The Lions trounced an inexperienced Western Force side 69-17 in their opening match in Australia last night.
