Warriors continue streak with Manly win

The Warriors have continued their National Rugby League resurgence with an 18-12 upset win over the Manly Sea Eagles at Mt Smart Stadium.

The Auckland club have won their last three matches, a feat not achieved since 2011, three weeks after their 62-6 record loss to Penrith.

After going down 12-0 in the first 20 minutes, the Warriors hit back with tries to Elijah Taylor and Glen Fisiiahi locking the score at half-time.

The Warriors dominated much of the second half and were rewarded when the centre, Konrad Hurrell, powered over for the match-winning try.

Manly looked to have tied things up late in the match when David Williams went over, but replays showed he failed to ground the ball, allowing the Warriors to hold on for the win.
