Proteas beat Pakistan at Champions Trophy

The South African cricketers are back on track for the semi-finals of the Champions Trophy one day tournament in Britain after beating Pakistan by 67 runs at Edgbaston.

South Africa, who were beaten by India in their opening match, made 234 for 9 with Hashim Amla top scoring with 81.

Pakistan, who have now lost both of their matches in the group, were bowled out for 167 with Ryan McLaren taking four for 19.

Proteas captain AB de Villiers says injured fast bowler Dale Steyn is likely to be considered for their final group match against the West Indies.
