Will Vettori be rested for Australia match?

The New Zealand cricket captain Brendon McCullum says they want to continue using Daniel Vettori in the Champions Trophy tournament, but they'll wait and see how his body is before selecting him for Wednesday night's match against Australia.

The veteran spinner has been struggling with an achilles problem, but bowled six overs in the win over Sri Lanka on Monday and claimed the key wicket of former captain Mahela Jayawardene.

McCullum believes he'll be okay for the next few games.

However New Zealand now face a dilemma whether to field Vettori against Australia at Edgbaston or save him until they face England in Cardiff two days later on what could potentially be another spin-friendly surface.
