Nigeria's football team for the Confederations Cup, which starts this weekend, went on strike and refused to leave their hotel in Namibia, missing their flight to Brazil.
The general secretary of the Namibia football association says the players maintain they're owed money promised to them by their association after they beat Kenya in a World Cup qualifying match last weekend.
Nigeria are due to play their first game at the Confederations Cup against Tahiti early next week.
