The All Blacks coach Steve Hansen has given his full backing to Tony Woodcock, saying the Highlanders prop still has a number of good years left in him.
Woodcock is on the reserves bench for Saturday night's second test against France in Christchurch.
Injury has meant 32-year-old Woodcock has only managed to start just over half of the Highlanders games this year.
Hansen says he's sure Woodcock will recapture his best form and all he needs is some continual game time.
Hansen has kept the same starting XV as last week, while Woodcock, Piri Weepu and Andrew Hore come into the reserves.
