The Christchurch cyclist Michael Vink has finished in fifth place in the week-long International Thuringen Rundfahrt race in Germany.
The prestigious Under-23 tour attracted national teams from 12 countries as well as development squads from several professional teams.
Vink finished 49 seconds behind the winner Dylan van Baarle of the Netherlands.
