More success for New Zealand swimmers at Mare Nostrum series

New Zealand swimmers have enjoyed more success at the latest Mare Nostrum series meet in Europe.

The current competition is in France with Wellington's Gareth Kean finishing second in the 100m backstroke, finishing behind Frenchman Jeremy Stravius who's posted the fastest time in the world this year over the distance.

Fellow Wellington swimmer Samantha Lucie-Smith was third in the 200m freestyle while California-based Glenn Snyders won a silver medal in the 50m breastroke.
