The San Antonio Spurs are one win away from the NBA basketball championship after beating the Miami Heat 114-104 to take a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series.

Tony Parker scored a team-high 26 points for the Spurs, while Manu Ginobli answered his critics as he scored 24 points in his first start of the season.

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade scored 25 points each for the top-seeded Heat, who have been unable to win twice in a row for 12 games and head home needing two wins to retain their title.

The Spurs have a chance to wrap up the series in Miami on Wednesday, while the Heat will be trying to force a game seven at home on Friday.
