Ethiopian football officials have admitted they fielded an ineligible player in a World Cup qualifier against Botswana by mistake, and they won't be appealing any FIFA disciplinary rulings made against them.
Ethiopia are now almost certain to be docked three points, which opens the door for South Africa to get a reprieve, and they might still be able to qualify for the 2014 finals in Brazil.
