NZ rowing crews off to promising start at Eton Dorney

The New Zealand rowing crews have made a promising start on day one of the second World Cup held at Eton Dorney in England.

Among those that have advanced straight to the finals, are Olympic Champions men's pair Eric Murray and Hamish Bond, who won their heat convincingly.

The New Zealand women's pair Rebecca Scown and partner Kayla Pratt also took the quick route to the finals with their win in the heats.

And the men's double scull crew and lightweight men's four head straight to the finals.
