The New Zealand rowing squad has won 4 gold medals and a silver at the World Cup regatta at Eton Dorney in England.

The day was led by another dominant performance by champion pair Hamish Bond and Eric Murray who powered past their opoosition to win by 15 seconds in their first major outing since the Olympics.

Their victory marks their 14th consecutive major title win - a new record in international rowing.

The double of Robbie Manson and Michael Arms, the men's lightweight four and single sculler Emma Twigg also won gold, while Rebecca Scown and Kayla Pratt won silver in the women's pair.

The team has a busy schedule over the next few weeks, with the Henley Royal Regatta and the third and final World Cup being held in Lucerne before they return home to New Zealand.

Next weekend the women's squad competes at the Holland Beker regatta in Amsterdam, where they will be joined by single scullers Emma Twigg and Mahe Drysdale.
