The Australian rugby team's horror buildup for the second test against the Lions has sunk to new depths with a warrant issued for the arrest of star winger Digby Ioane.
Injury was added to insult for Ioane late yesterday as he was officially ruled out of the remaining two tests of the series with a shoulder problem that may require surgery.
The Lions series is over for centre Pat McCabe because of a neck injury, and fullback Berrick Barnes, who was concussed in the Brisbane test, will miss Saturday's match in Melbourne but will be considered for the final test in Sydney.
Ioane's arrest warrant was issued yesterday afternoon when he was at the Wallabies' training, but should have been at the Melbourne Magistrates Court to answer an assault charge relating to an incident in a hotel in March.
