The grand old lady of the women's singles draw at Wimbledon Kimiko Date-Krumm has become the oldest female player to reach the third round of the championship in the professional era.
The 42-year-old Japanese outfoxed the 23-year-old Romanian Alexandra Cadantu on the way to a 6-4 7-5 win, and it's the first time she's reached the third round at Wimbledon since 1996, when she made the semi-finals.
