The West Indies cricketer, Shivnarine Chanderpaul, fresh from scoring his first hundred against New Zealand and the 20th of his career in the recent drawn test in Napier, continues to head the ICC Player Rankings for test batsmen.

His efforts at Mclean Park has Chanderpaul the only batsman in the world with 900 ratings points or more.

West Indies captain, Chris Gayle, is rewarded for his big century in Napier with a ranking of 20 while no New Zealanders are in the top 20.

In the test bowler rankings there's no change for New Zealand captain Daniel Vettori who is still at number 11 while former Black Cap Shane Bond still holds on to his ranking of 13th.

Vettori is still ranked behind Jacques Kallis as world test cricket's number two all rounder.
