English second division football club Derby have scored a shock 1-0 win over reigning Premier League champions Manchester United in their League Cup first leg semi-final.
It was a humbling night for United - who are also reigning European and club world champions - against a Derby side which has won only one of their last nine league games.
Derby, who last season won the unwelcome distinction of being relegated from the top flight as the team with the worst ever record, are currently five points outside the relegation zone in the second division Championship.
