Murray continues to dominate Federer

12:28 pm on 10 January 2009

The British tennis player Andy Murray has continued his domination over world number two Roger Federer when he defeated the Swiss in three sets to reach the final of the Qatar Open.

The defending champ and third seed, who has a 5-2 head-to-head record over Federer including an exhibition event last week in Abu Dhabi, will meet American Andy Roddick in today's final, if a back problem allows.

Roddick has overcome Frenchman Gael Monfils to win his semi-final in three sets as well.
