The New Zealand batsman Martin Guptill has turned in a record breaking performance in the fourth one dayer against the West Indies, in Auckland.
Guptill has become the first New Zealander to score a century on their limited overs debut.
His 122 not out is also the second highest effort ever in international one day cricket by a debutant.
The innings is also the highest individual score posted by a New Zealander against the West Indies in one dayers.
The West Indies have been set 276 for victory at Eden Park.
