The New Zealand tennis player GD Jones has been beaten in the second round of qualifying for this week's Heineken Open, in Auckland.
Jones, who has a world ranking of 623, lost 7-6 6-3 to 67th ranked Oscar Hernandez of Spain.
Two New Zealanders, Dan King-Turner and Rubin Statham, have been given wild cards to play in the event.
