The Boston Celtics have held off the Toronto Raptors 94-88 in Toronto to post their first win in five games.
Ray Allen finished with a season high 36 points, including eight three pointers, for the reigning NBA champions.
But the Celtics fourth quarter slump of late continued and Toronto almost came back from a 19-point deficit to win.
The two teams play again tomorrow in Boston where the Celtics have won 18 of 20 games this season.
