Italian legend left out of Six Nations rugby squad

The rugby prop Andrea Lo Cicero blasted Italian rugby bosses after he was ommitted from a 30-man squad for a pre-Six Nations training camp.

The 78-Test prop has taken part in all of the Azzurri's Six Nations campaigns since their debut in 2000.

Cicero says after spending 11 years in the national team he would have expected at least a phone call.

South African coach Nick Mallett has brought in six uncapped players, while leaving out the experienced 32-year-old Sicilian.
