The Australian football A-League's judiciary have suspended Wellington Phoenix midfielder Troy Hearfield for two games following his red card against Sydney FC on Sunday.

Hearfield was also found guilty of violent conduct stemming from a first-half incident involving Sydney striker Alex Brosque and was issued with another two-match ban, to run concurrently.

Hearfield will next be available for week one of the A-League finals should the Phoenix qualify.
