The Liverpool football club's co-owner Tom Hicks says he expects Rafa Benitez to be the club's coach in five years' time despite media reports saying the Spaniard has rejected a new contract.
The Liverpool Echo quoted Benitez, 48, as saying he will only agree to a new deal if he is given more control over football matters rather than having to answer to a chief executive.
Hicks says the frustration Benitez feels can be resolved and that they have a good working relationship.
