New Zealand has won two more medals at the Youth Olympics festival in Sydney, with cyclist Ethan Mitchell winning silver in the 1km time trial.
Mitchell beat his personal best by a scorching three seconds.
New Zealand's other medal came in the triathlon with Christchurch's Jos Hoetjes finishing third.
New Zealand now has five medals two which came on Thursday with the canoeists taking out the men's K4 1000 and the women's K1 1000, and a bronze in the men's K2 1000.
