The NFL team the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have named Raheem Morris as coach and appointed Mark Dominik as general manager.

The announcement came the day after Tampa Bay dismissed coach Jon Gruden and general manager Bruce Allen.

Morris has spent six of the past seven campaigns on the Tampa Bay staff.

He served this season as the defensive backs coach and was promoted to defensive coordinator on Christmas Day, effective next season.

Dominik has been the team's director of pro personnel for eight years.

The decision to fire Gruden came after the Buccaneers lost their last four games to finish 9-7 after starting the season 9-3.
