Sir Alex Ferguson's old football team Aberdeen has stunned the Scottish Premier League leaders and defending champions Celtic with a 4-2 win at Pittodrie.

The Dons' defender Alexander Diamond scored twice in three minutes after Celtic came back to 2-2 to give the home side a win that moves them up to third place behind the Old Firm.

Diamond's two headers from close range in the 75th and 78th minutes were the difference, while Motherwell also won at Dundee United 4-0.

Celtic remain top but Rangers are now four points behind them.
