Uncertainty surrounds the coach John Kosmina's future after Sydney FC missed out on the A-League football finals for the first time.
The glamour club's top four hopes were officially killed off at the weekend by the Queensland Roar, who coasted to a 3-1 win in Brisbane.
Kosmina is a real chance of becoming the third Sydney FC coach in four years to be shown the door after it's poor 2008-09 season.
After going through the first five rounds unbeaten, Sydney FC managed just three more wins in their next 15 games.
Kosmina still has a year left on his contract - but his future will be clearer once new owners David Traktovenko and Paul Ramsey take charge in the coming weeks.
