The Fijian rugby captain Moses Rauluni will be out of action for eight to 10 weeks after undergoing knee surgery.
English Club Saracens confirmed halfback Rauluni damaged knee cartilage during a European Challenge Cup match against Viadana on Sunday
South African international halfback Neil de Kock is also sidelined with a broken arm and coach Eddie Jones says it's a major blow losing two halfbacks in the space of a week.
However it's not all bad news for Saracens as the English Club signed former New Zealand number nine Justin Marshall on a short-term contract last week.
