There are two new caps in the New Zealand cricket squad for the Chappell-Hadlee one day international series against Australia next month.

18-year-old Northern Districts fast bowler Trent Boult and Central Districts all-rounder Brendon Diamanti have been called up following strong domestic form.

Batsman Peter Fulton returns to the side, as does bowler Iain O'brien.

Daniel Flynn and Mark Gillespie have been dropped, while Jacob Oram wasn't considered because of injury.
