The Memphis Grizzlies NBA side have fired head coach Marc Iavaroni after a losing start to the season.
Memphis have won just 11 of their first 41 games.
Since taking over the position in May 2007, Lavaroni has posted a record of 33 wins and 90 losses.
Assistant Johnny Davis will serve as the interim coach while a replacement is sought.
Milwaukee Bucks assistant and former Grizzlies coach Lionel Harris is expected to be named Lavaroni's successor.
