The automobile and motorcycke maker Honda says it will scale down its motorcycle racing activities to cope with the economic crisis, skipping this year's Suzuka Eight Hours endurance championship.
The Japanese company says its works team will not participate this year, but may come back next year.
Honda in December also announced its shock withdrawal from Formula One.
Honda says it's continuing to supply machines to other teams.
