Chris van der Drift is optimistic about his chances at the New Zealand round of the A1GP motor racing series at Taupo today.
The New Zealand A1GP team driver has qualified 6th for this morning's sprint race and 10th for this afternoon's feature race.
van der Drift believes he can challenge for a podium place, despite his starting positions on the grid.
He says using pitstops wisely will also be key to secure top finishes.
Ireland starts on pole for both races.
