Bracken's absence adds to Australian pressure

6:19 am on 26 January 2009

Nathan Bracken's absence has put more pressure on the Australian cricketers going into game four of their 5-match one day series against South Africa.

Australia's key pace bowler has been ruled out of the match with a strained calf muscle, putting even more pressure on Australia's middle order batsmen, and a relatively inexperienced pace bowling attack.

South Africa, whose wicketkeeper Mark Boucher is out for the rest of the series, lead 2-1, so victory on Australia Day in Adelaide would give them the series.
